It helps them to balance domestic and work life very deftly in today’s fast lane living. Home science students acquire the skills needed to meet basic needs of life in a family.

To make young students experts in household chores various activities like-Cooking ,Stitching,Home Decoration etc. are taught by expert facilitators . Home Science lab is well equipped ,well lighted and well ventilated.The lab has all necessary kitchen commodities such as refrigerator , microwave .

The department has well equipped laboratory for the study of clothing and textiles. Space and equipment are available for chemical, physical, microscopic and sensory investigations of textiles and for textile product development research, and the physical and socio-psychological aspects of clothing.
